I’m a frequent reader of Nova Spivack’s [LINK] (although still not in the Twine Beta *sniff* [LINK]) and I have a big interest in the Semantic Web, or at least what it promises. My one foray into this was the Degrees of Separation RDF generator and web service [LINK] built on top of ClearForest’s semantic services. Here’s a sample of the connection between Toshiba and Yahoo as per the "blog-o-sphere".

I woke last Sunday evening at about 1AM. It was Easter Sunday evening, the day Jesus is supposed to have risen from the dead. The moon was shining into my bedroom, onto my face with as much light as a high powered torch. It was a full moon and I could easily have read a book by it.
The bed is positioned with my head about 8 feet from the window. The curtain was closed and the angle was acute such that the moon stayed like that only for about …

A while back [LINK] I was lucky enough to get a copy of "Understanding Windows Cardspace" by Vittorio, Garrett and Caleb[LINK]. I’ve finally been able to give this the time it deserves.
The Foreword is by Identity luminary (and friend) Kim Cameron and if I’m keeping it real, rather than describe the book’s contents, I wish he’d shared more thoughts around the problem space, the approach to the solution and the roadmap BEYOND cardspace. Here’s Kim’s take on the book [LINK].
The book itself is an easy read. Not a tome …

My old buddy Ohad (from CFXWeb days) has sent word of some interesting stuff he’s doing with Facebook….

Some of you know I’m (also) the designer at Real Dice. On Friday we moved from closed alpha to the first public beta. Here is a link to the application on facebook – try if and please be brutally honest about what works and what doesn’t. We won’t be able to fix things unless we’ll know what’s not working.

On a recent trip to London I was amused by the differences in infomercials between the US and England. If you stay up late enough or get up early enough you’ll find the US runs infomercials primarily related to being overweight and ways to combat obesity. Case in point, Tony Little [LINK]. And you might say that is in some ways representative of the cultural stereotypes around being American.
So what then would be representative of the English culture? What product best represents the plight of the Englishman in today’s …

If you like Excel like Dan [LINK] and you like Trigonometry and you like Robotics, then you’ll get a kick out of this thing. Oh yeah, if you like Spiders as well as those other things you’ll really like Excel powered Robotic Spider. [LINK]
It’s too bad they didn’t add in a Baby as they could’ve had an Excel Powered Robotic Spider Baby.

I really feel the stress is getting to me.
This morning I was driving to work and stopped at a traffic light. The song on my MP3 was a live version of "Star Star" by The Frames.
I took note of the license plate of the car in front, it was "WEE 92R". At the traffic-light a little person (whom you NEVER see in Jersey City) crossed the road. This was coincidence number one, that the license plate read WEE and a little person crossed at the same time.
At …
